Description
Define and support in building the Cloud native operating model in Telenor units, e.g. Telenor Asia, Telenor Procurement Company, Telenor Nordics, Telenor Amp, Telenor Infra etc., to maximize impact in Telenor, as well as fully leveraging external capabilities in the ecosystem.
Provide strategic guidance, advisory and support services to various units within Telenor on cloud architecture, cloud migration, deployment models, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess their cloud needs, define project scopes, and develop comprehensive and efficient solutions that align with business goals. Including support on building cloud offerings to the B2B.
Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging cloud technologies and best practices related to cloud computing, make recommendations for their adoption into existing systems and processes.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience within technology industry or telecommunications, with experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services.
Deep understanding of technology landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Solid insights into key cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and proficiency in cloud – native services, such as compute, storage, networking and databases.
Good understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption and compliance standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

In this role you will be responsible for execution of the technology strategy and provide hands-on experience in cloud technologies to support the company’s initiatives and projects. As a key member of our advisory unit, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of cloud solutions and ensure the successful implementation of cloud solutions across the organisation. This requires collaboration with different Telenor units as well as partners and industry arenas.
