It’s goood to know

  1. Customers who buy participating dtac TriNet phones (Lion 5.0 HD, Cheetah Turbo 4.5, Joey Turbo 4.0, Joey Jump 4.0 and Joey Jump 3.5) can receive the right via express service channel by calling *399*014#. 
  2. Customer using one number will receive one right per one phone. Customers must complete transaction via express service and receive the right from Happy numbers and participating mobile phones only.
  3. Customers must complete transaction via express service to confirm the special usage right within 31st December 2014.
  4. Conditions for 12-month free Facebook and Line services
    1. Customer using one number will receive one right per one phone. Customers must complete transaction via express service and receive the right to use Facebook and Line free for 12 months, from Happy numbers and participating mobile phones only.
    2. Unlimited Facebook and Line usage Value Added Services (VAS) is the service where customers can access Facebook via http://m.facebook.com or phones that support Facebook application, and can access Line through Line application via dtac 3G/EDGE mobile internet service. 
    3. For Facebook and Line Applications, application service fees and download fees are excluded from this unlimited Facebook and Line usage VAS. Customers will be charged according to currently held promotion.
    4. Uses of Facebook Check in, Share location and/or Notification function are excluded from this unlimited Facebook and Line usage VAS. Customers will be charged according to currently held promotion.
    5. Turn Location off by accessing Location Services -> choose Facebook -> OFF
    6. Turn Notification off by accessing More -> Account Settings -> Notifications
    7. Website or links usage other than m.facebook.com is excluded from this Facebook VAS. Customers will be charged according to currently held promotion.
    8. Blackberry customers without Blackberry VAS application will not be able to use Facebook via Facebook application. However customers can use Facebook via http://m.facebook.com through APN WEB/ WAP only.
    9. The use of Share Location, Shake It, Push Notification and Line Free Call is excluded from this unlimited Facebook and Line VAS. Customers will be charged according to currently held promotion.

    10. This Facebook and Line VAS only supports domestic usage in Thailand. For international Facebook and Line usage, fees will depend on service providers’ rates in each country.

  5. Conditions for customers register for Happy SIM Kong Kwan (SIM Smartphones) given with phone within July 31, 2014
    1. SIM Smartphones customers will automatically receive phone numbers via SMS. Service Provider reserves the right to determine given phone numbers.
      1. Service fee rates for “Smart phone SIM” after SMS confirmation within 24 hours after registration (excluded VAT) 
      2. Calls to all Networks is 0.99 baht per minute for entire 24 hour (remaining seconds are round up to the next complete minute).
      3. SMS sending costs 1 baht per SMS, MMS is 5 baht each. For Thai-only or Thai-with-English SMS, 70 characters are counted as one SMS (including vowels, space and numbers). English SMS of 160 characters are counted as one SMS (including space and numbers). In the case of SMS characters exceeding limits above, special characters present, and/or other languages SMS, character counts will be calculated differently due to system technical limitations.  
    2. SIM Smartphones customers will receive free monthly internet usage up to 150 MB.
      1. Free Happy internet 50 MB (valid for seven days usage) when top up 100 baht and above for the first 6 months after SMS confirmation. Customers must have account balance more than 0 baht and usage day balance of at least 1 day.
      2. Customers will receive free internet up to 3 times per month, per calendar basis.
      3. Customers of Free Happy internet will not be able to carry unused balance to the next month. In the case of internet usage after given time or more than given MB quota, the charge will be 2 baht per MB (excluded VAT 7%). Customers may buy or apply for Happy internet VAS package currently available at that time. Check your Happy internet balance at Tel *101*4# (free of charge)
  6. Customers can apply and receive usage right for this 12-month unlimited Facebook and Line VAS only once. Customers who cancel the promotion will not be able to reapply for this 12-month unlimited Facebook and Line VAS.
  7. Customers must maintain usage status by having more than 0 baht in account balance and usage day balance of at least 1 day. Customers will receive this promotion when receive confirmation SMS within 1 hour after application.
  8. The aforementioned rights only apply to domestic usage. Customers must study additional information before service selection at 1678 dtac call center (3 baht per call). Service provider reserves the right to cancel and/or adjust the program as deem appropriate.
  9. New customers must complete user registration and present evidences per service provider’s requirement before new SIM card, promotion and/or VAS applications.
  10. Calling to SIM Krub Krua Tua Dee promotion numbers is 1.50 baht/minute, or Happy 0.25 baht/minute for Rub Sai Dai Tung right, the system will not include this in Happy Bonus calculation for calls pick up.
  11. Service fee rates do not include international calls, roaming service, WAP VAS, Audio Text, special number service and other VAS above the aforementioned rights.
  12. Happy internet VAS is the data service with 3G/EDGE technology brought by Service Provider for convenience of Network customers. The service may have some limitations in certain locations or certain periods of time. The speed of 3G technology usage depends on service area, number of service users, connecting devices and the set-up of devices, which means each time service is not always with the continuous maximum speed. The movement of connecting devices might also temporarily affect data transmission and data transmission technology. Customers are encouraged to study usage instructions in full details.
  13. Conditions for 3G/EDGE technology data VAS
    1. Customers must agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use, which may change at any time. It is customers’ responsibility to periodically check for such changes from dtac website or nationwide dtac customer centers.
    2. Service Provider will determine the right to use each type of 3G/EDGE technology data service for efficient network management and communication facilitation among customers at different times. This may limit the speed of data transmission among customers, the use of Bit Torrent, files downloading and uploading, or any other applications that need to transfer large amounts of data continuously.
    3. Service Provider reserves the right to manage the volume and speed of data transmission, log-in or connection to the internet service for fairness, equality and efficiency of telecommunication networks management.
    4. The right to use 3G/EDGE technology will be based on the number of privileged customers, including all services in and outside the 3G service area.
    5. Service Provider does not encourage or is related to the case of customers using internet services in violation of laws or terms of service in any form. If Service Provider finds out or has received complaints on such actions, Service Provider reserves the right to immediately terminate service provided without prior notice.
  14. This promotion is under terms and conditions of service provider. The Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel the service if found that the customer is not a registered user, use the service in a manner that contributes to technical defects, affecting the service to other customers, or use the SIM card with devices other than mobile phones or Air Card connecting devices or the devices not according to the standard of service provider.
  15. Company reserves the right to revise the terms without prior notice.
